Vera Sidika all along made people believe her booty is 100 per cent natural until October 5, 2022, when she stepped out with a flat bottom to the surprise of everyone.
The socialite announced in a post on social media that she was forced to undergo surgery to get rid of her fake booty due to health risks.
“This has been the hardest phase in my life. Due to health risks and complications I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it and learnt to love myself regardless,” Vera wrote.
“Ladies, please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much. Honestly, it’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my birthday this year but here we are,” she added.
Vera's announcement came as a shock to many because of the way she made everyone believe that her huge bottom was natural.
The socialite, while engaging her fans in an interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) in August 2021 before she gave birth to her daughter, insisted that her huge derrières were 100 per cent natural.
Vera assured her fans that her booty was all-natural, admitting that only her boobs, teeth and skin complexion were fake.
"Is it true that you did surgery ya haga (booty)?" A fan asked Vera.
To which she responded;
"Not true. My booty is natural. But my boobs, teeth and skin complexion are fake. In fact hopefully, after delivery, I'd want a smaller booty. I'm told running on the treadmill helps. Honestly, it's too big. I don't like it.
Vera once reassured her fans her giant backside is 100 per cent natural in another Q&A in June 2022.
"Is your nyash all natural? Ni supuu sana," a fan posed.
To which Vera responded;
“Nyash 100% natural boobs 100% fake soon upgrading boobs to 1000% fake,”
"How does it feel to have big nyash? Another fan asked.
To which Vera responded;
"LMAO (laughing my **s off) well I don't know. I've had it since teenage. Feels normal."
Beauty queen slams Vera
Claiming that her booty is 100 per cent natural is not the only thing that Vera Sidika lied about. Miss Universe Kenya 2005 Rachel Marete angrily slammed the socialite for lying about why she removed her fake booty.
Marete insists that the kind of side effects that Vera mentioned happened to her only occurs to people who have had illegal butt injections.
The US-based Kenyan beauty queen, who herself has undergone multiple plastic surgeries, insisted that Vera shouldn't scare other people complaining that cosmetic surgeries are not safe when she put her own life at risk with illegal butt injections.
Vera's surgeries
Speaking during an interview on NTV with Larry Madowo on June 6, 2014, Vera spoke openly about the skin-lightening procedure she had just undergone.
The bootyful socialite said she bleached her entire body because looking good was what earned her money.
“Looking good is my business. My body is my business, nobody else’s but mine,” Vera said.
She claimed that she spent a whopping Ksh15 million to bleach her entire body.
Vera also underwent breast augmentation surgery in the US to enlarge her boobs with silicone implants, a procedure she claimed cost her Ksh2 million.
The socialite first revealed that she underwent the boob job in Beverly Hills, California during a 2018 interview with Tanzania’s Kwanza TV.
Vera shed more light on her breast augmentation surgery during an interview with Jalang’o in September 2020.
She explained that she went for the boobs implants in her quest to make her body proportional because she used to be thick with a flat chest.
“I wasn’t proportional…I used to be thick but not proportional so I just decided to be proportional and added my boobs and I at least don’t wear bras anymore. It cost me $20,000. I got it done in Beverly Hills. They are actually good because they don’t interfere with your breasts as you can still breastfeed. The Breast has like a ka-pocket that is empty, so they normally put the implant in that pocket, so it doesn’t interfere with anything in your breasts," Vera explained.
In early 2021, Vera Sidika claimed that she spend millions to get veneer teeth.
Veneers are thin coverings that are placed over the front (visible) part of the tooth. They look like natural teeth. Veneers can be used to correct a wide range of dental issues, such as teeth that are stained and can't be whitened by bleaching. chipped or worn teeth. [sic]
"Got so many complications on my dental formula from the videos. Thank you! The best investment ever. I spent millions on my teeth and it was totally worth it! Honestly, it changes your entire face. Whenever I'm talking to someone, they just stare at my teeth," Vera Sidika wrote on social media.
"Told my doctor I want my teeth to be brighter than the hater's future. He said say no more I picked the whitest veneers from the colour chat. God bless whoever invented veneers, you must get it done by a professional. Otherwise, you'll end up getting horse teeth so big you end up looking funny.
"That's why I only get work done in Beverly Hills. I did my boobs and veneers there. It's expensive but worth every penny. These Hollywood celebs they use on teeth whitening adverts mostly have veneers. They make y'all spend money doing teeth whitening yet they used models who got veneers," she added.
