Street Talk

A top executive of a State corporation who has been cohabiting with a female legislator bore the brunt of the torrential rains that pounded the city on Saturday night when he was thrown out of the love nest. Reason?

The man, said to have deserted his lawful spouse to stay with the lawmaker, found himself in trouble when he espoused the supposed merits of the BBI (Building Bridges Initiative).

The politico from Central region, who is an avid supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, literally kicked the man out of her house in the midst of the downpour.

Following the launch of the BBI report last week, politicians have been debating whether the document should be adopted by Parliament or taken to the people to decide on changes through a referendum.

Politicians allied to the DP want BBI's proposed changes effected by Parliament while those allied to Raila Odinga, the opposition chief, want a referendum.
