Just days after upcoming socialite Shakilla exposed messages from former radio host Andrew Kibe on her Instagram, she went on the same app to expose Eric Omondi.

Shakilla accused the comedian of using her to promote his shows with no pay.

For instance, she claimed in 2021 when he was shooting his infamous Wife Material show, Omondi completely refused to pay her dues and the rest of the cast members. Her efforts to get her pay have been in vain to date as Eric fails to pick up her calls.

This, she says prompted her to be dramatic to gain from the show saying;

"Eric has used me in so many ways. He did not pay me or anyone on the wife material show and was biased and unfair in choosing the winner so I had to come up with a wise way to gain from the show," she lamented on her Instagram live.

Adding;

"If I don't get any monetary value on this at least I'll get social media presence out of it."

Further, Shakilla asked Eric to walk his talk on supporting local talents.

"Eric uses people. You cannot claim you are supporting artistes and you are not paying content creators," she opined.

Eric Omondi is yet to respond to the accusations.

Season 4?

Early this year, Omondi announced the return of 'Wife Material' season 4 with new rules and a controversial lineup to no fruition.

The entertainer had claimed that the buzzy show will exclude African contestants and will only feature eight participants: two whites, two Chinese women, two Indians and two Arabic women.

Omondi said he is not interested in a Kenyan or a black woman for a wife.

"This season 4 sitaki waafrica muniite racist nimejaribu nimeshindwa.
Nitakua na wazungu wawili, wa-chinese wawili, wahindi wawili an waarabu wawili.
(In season 4, I will not feature Africans. I've tried and it has been hard. I don't mind being labelled racist)," he said.

"Every Kenyan, East African and every African is out of the picture. A Chinese wife would be a good catch," he added.

During season 3, Omondi picked a suitor from South Sudan after the season finale which was a conglomerate of contestants from five African countries; Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Sudan and Nigeria.

Out of eight contestants, Eric settled on South Sudanese Ayen Monice and announced the news on his social media pages.

“Monica Ayen -Omondi. Congratulations on winning my heart, and congratulations on winning the Final Season of Wife Material, I promise to love you with all that I have. I will respect you, I will honour you with all dignity. I promise to protect you. Likewise, I can’t wait to start a family with you,” Omondi posted.

Season 3 (the African edition) was the first successful show after encountering major difficulties with some cast and authorities in his first two seasons which ended on an epic failure.
