Watamu is known for its unique and relaxed way of life where visitors seeking to chill out, explore and enjoy wonders prefer.

And this is magnified when it’s about an event that puts art, music, drinks, food, and good people together on a weekend. Yeah, on a weekend!

Between March 18 and 20, 2022, the famous 7 Islands Festival is showcasing a never-seen-before experience at Papa Remo beach.

This year’s edition dubbed WIRA features a magical lineup of artistes sprawling from across nations in the world.

From South Africa’s Zakes Bantwini, to Russia's KitKat to France’s duo of Sasson and Moovin to United Kingdom’s Nickie Cartel, and to Israel's Omri.

Zakes will showcase a magical performance on March 19 before Sasson introduces the element of fire, all the way from France, with his debut performance on the Kenyan coastline on March 20.

Then DJ Moovin! He is also making his debut on the Kenyan coastline on March 20 alongside turntable goddess KitKat.

All the way from Tel Aviv, super talented DJ Omri will spin on stage on the same day.

Of course, these are among other skilled locals and international artistes lined up for the event.

You can only “prepare for an unforgettable festival and celebrate with all your friends and family this weekend” as organizers have correctly put it.
