Businesswoman Sarah Kabu has opened up about suffering a miscarriage.

While appearing for an interview with Youtuber Eve Mungai, Sarah stated that she was due in January but that was cut short six months into her pregnancy.

She says she remains hopeful that she will conceive again.

"I was expecting some twins, and was supposed to be due in January, but things didn't happen we thank God for everything. We leave it to God but I am hopeful that if it was His will for that to happen, maybe it will happen one day sooner than later," she said.

Further, she says she developed a deep connection with singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua's newborn adding that she suggested the baby's name.

"They already have Heaven and Majesty and people were saying the other one should be Angel. And I was like Angel is such a common name, so I said, why don't you name your child Malaika," she said.

In May this year, Sarah disclosed that she was planning to get pregnant for her husband to reignite love after their marriage nearly hit rock bottom.

In early April 2022, Sarah came out bitterly complaining claiming that her husband Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu had bribed police and taken away their two children.

Sarah spilt the beans on her troubled marriage while speaking to Tina Lewis in a tell-all interview. She said that had been having conflicts with her husband since 2013 but she was just pretending that everything was fine since she is a public figure.

“The challenges I have gone through if I was to talk about them sijui how many women have gone through such challenges? The tu issues tule munadeal nacho kwenyu I have gone through them like times 10 of what you’ve gone through. That’s why I reached I point where I don’t want to live a fake life anymore. Now I will live the real life of who I am,” Sarah Kabu said.

Sarah Kabu wanted peaceful co-parenting

Sarah further stated that she was tired of living a fake life and that only wished to have a peaceful co-parenting with her husband Simon Kabu.

“We have been discussing separation, I have been telling him that I don’t feel so comfortable in this marriage and I am tired of faking. So we were in discussion,” Sarah said.

Just days after the interview, Sarah Kabu took to Insta Stories and denied everything she had said.

The mother of two claimed that she was in distress and that everything she had said earlier was misleading. She further asked her husband for forgiveness and begged him to sort out their issues privately.

“Sorry, my fam. When I was in distress I said things that I shouldn’t have said online and thus misleading. Life is a lesson and we learn every day. Forgive me, Simon. Let's sort our issues offline. All is well. Please keep us in prayers #Marriageworks,” Sarah Kabu wrote.

Fast forward to May 2022, Sarah Kabu announced she is pregnant with her husband when she surprised him with a cake written 'happy to be a dad again'.
