Blogger and Kileleshwa Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai clashed with Samidoh after claiming that he helped the key suspect in Jeff Mwathi's death escape murder charges.

Alai claimed that Samidoh had been bribed to save the suspect from being charged with murder.

“Samidoh has been bribed to save the murderer who is a fellow artists. Nonsense! A suspect is openly bragging how a serving police officer helped him escape murder charges,” Robert Alai wrote on Facebook.

He also tweeted the same information on his official Twitter account @RobertAlai.

Reacting to Robert Alai's post on Facebook, Samidoh told off the Kileleshwa MCA saying he was seeking relevance in things he didn't know anything about.

Wee kipii kazi yako nikutafuta tu relevance na vitu hujui.!” Samidoh wrote.

In a quick rejoinder, Alai insulted Samidoh saying he was gay and further invited the Mugithi singer to suck him.

Samidoh unanyonya mb*r* wewe shoga ya Karen Nyamu? Nikualike uninyonye?” Robert Alai wrote.

Samidoh aided investigations

Robert Alai's claim that Samidoh aided Jeff Mwathi's killer came after DJ Fatxo narrated how Samidoh helped police to prove possible suicide as the cause of Jeff's death at Redwood apartment in Kasarani.

Speaking to a local radio station, Fatxo who was the prime suspect, said after Jeff's demise, Samidoh (Mwathi's uncle) accompanied police officers investigating the incident to his house.

"Samidoh came to my house after Jeff's death. The police requested since he was skinny that he tries going through my window to see if he would fit, and he did," DJ Fatxo said.

At the same time, Fatxo claimed since the death puzzle, he maintains communication with Jeff's mother Anne Wacuka through his mum via Samidoh.

DPP

DJ Fatxo's lawyer said the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji recommended an inquest to establish the cause of Jeff Mwathi’s death.

Lawyer Duncan Okatch in a media briefing on May 17, 2023, stated that DPP agreed with the findings of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI ) that there was no evidence to suggest criminal culpability on DJ Fatxo's part.

“Our client is happy that the truthful position he has always espoused and maintained with regard to his innocence has come out at last,” Okatch said.

He said the DJ is thankful to the DCI and the DPP for exhibiting great standards of professionalism, independence and focus despite what he termed as clearly orchestrated public and social media machinations aimed at obfuscating the truth and injuring his reputation.
