America-based Nigerian actor and singer Rotimi has disclosed why he decided to settle with an African woman.
The Hollywood actor is dating Tanzanian singer and actress, Vanessa Mdee whom they share a son named, Seven.
African women are submissive
Speaking on The Pivot Podcast, Rotimi noted that he went for an African woman since they are submissive to their husbands.

He also explained that African women understand how to perfectly treat a man.
"When you have an African woman, you get a woman who is cautious about our understanding of how to treat a man and how to be submissive,” Rotimi said.
The actor also heaped praises on Mdee noting that besides being beautiful, she also understands when to get tough.
"It's just a balance that is hard to find and I don't say you don't get that in American women but a lot of African women are made to be queens in their minds and also to be a great wives,” Rotimi added.

In August 2021, Mdee flaunted a brand new Range Rover 2021 she was gifted by his American boyfriend.
Through her Instagram page, the singer sparked reactions after sharing a short clip holding the car keys, disclosing that her boyfriend had just handed over the car.
A bouquet of Beverly Hills' Dose Of Rose flowers could also be seen.
"Capital GOD. When he hands you the keys to your brand new Range Rover 2021," Mdee said.
Mdee also shared a photo of the luxurious ride parked outside their house in Atlanta.

The actor has been pampering Mdee since they got engaged, in June 2021, the singer shared a video showing Rotimi showering her with money.
"Woman I know you have your own money, but go get you hair done. Go get your nails done, go get this to your Mum give this Mars, and go get the bag that used said you want," Rotimi said in the viral video.
The couple started dating in October 2020 after Vanessa was first spotted with Rotimi in Miami.
Following the relationship, Vanessa moved to Atlanta to stay with Rotimi months before announcing that she is taking a break from music, further terming the music industry demonic.
The couple also got matching tattoos of each other's names which they flaunted during an Instagram live session.
