Gospel musician Alex Apoko alias Ringtone now says he has spent half a million for treatment and repairing his car following a confrontation with blogger Robert Alai.
Speaking to K24 Digital, the Tenda Wema hitmaker said that the case was also being mentioned at Kibera Law Courts on Thursday, July 29.
“People are thinking that it was a publicity stunt but they will soon prove me right that I was attacked,” he said.
The musician said that he left hospital on Thursday morning and was headed to court over the matter.
Ringtone said that he was still in pain and all he needed was justice. In the video that made rounds on social media a week ago, Alai is seen carrying a baton and pointing at the musician after their cars were involved in an accident.
Several photos and videos released by Ringtone after the incident show him bandaged on his face and arm.
Known for publicity stunts before releasing a song, it has become really hard for the musician to convince his followers that he was not acting ahead of releasing another song.
