Comedian Oga Obinna has on Sunday been appointed as the replacement of Jalang'o as Kamene Goro's co-host.

Following his appointment, Oga has come out to reveal the lucrative deal he has been offered at the radio station.

Speaking YouTuber 2mbili, the former Nation FM presenter revealed that he has been offered a salary six times higher than what he used to earn at his former employer.

While comparing his new salary to an entertainment salary offered to retired presidents, the funnyman revealed that he would receive about Ksh750k per month. His revelation comes after 2mbili pressed him to reveal the exact figure he was going to earn at the station.

"What is your contract saying pale kwa payment?" 2mbili asked him and he replied:" I have said it before, I will be doing this job for free but of cause with a small allowance to run around."

"You know some small allowances as you out it can be higher than someone's salary. Like for retired presidents, their entertainment allowance is about Ksh750,000," 2mbili pressed.

It is during the pressing that Oga interrupted that revealed that his salary was equal to the entertainment allowance of the retired president.

"So you are saying my salary is equal to the entertainment allowance given presidents," Oga interrupted.

Oga further revealed that he would not wish to go back to his former employers even if they offered him a better contract than that which he is offered by K1ss FM.

According to him, he would rather work at K1ss FM or anywhere else than go back to his former employers whom he accused of being t0xic.

"I will never go back to my former employer even if they offer me a better contract than what K1ss FM is offering me. I am not going back to my ex, never. You know some people are being paid a lot of money but the environment they are working in is not conducive. I would choose a happy environment ahead of a huge offer," Oga said.

Oga further revealed that he has faced a lot of rejection in his life saying that his new role at K1ss is proof of his hard work. He said that he is one of the few radio presenters who can boast to have done a "full nine yard."

"I'm the only radio presenter to has done the whole 9 yards, started with the late-night show, then evening, then midmorning, then drive and now breakfast. I'm contented.

"To all my former colleagues and bosses asanteni for you are the reason why this is possible. You all played a pivotal role in teaching me, sharpening me, and guiding me well as you prepared me for this position and I won't let all of you down. I got this," he added.
