Acclaimed multi-faceted recording artiste Soul Marley hopes he can treat his legion of Kenyan fans to an unforgettable experience, teasing that he would love to launch his next Extended Play (EP) project in Nairobi.

He lit up the music world with the release of his highly-rated new single Elevate on May 28.

The single features a unique sound that remains true to the artiste’s Nigerian roots while blending together Afrobeat, soul, reggae and dancehall to create a record that is sure to get audiences up and dancing.

Besides launching his newest project, Marley says that he would love to work with Kenyan artistes.

And without mentioning names, he says “there are really talented musicians in Kenya and I definitely wanna hit the studio with them. This one I will.”

Born in the heart of Lagos in Nigeria, Marley wanted his new single to embody a smooth, groovy feel linked to his love for reggae, soul and Afrobeat.

“I have always had a passion for music since I was a child and being able to tell a story that lives an impact on the listener has always been part of my purpose.

This has helped me choose passion over perfection, and my new single embodies that,” he adds.

As a follow-up to his debut EP Taurus in 2020, audiences can also look forward to Marley’s manner of funk on Elevate, complete with strumming patterns from bass guitar, saxophone, bongo, piano, and drums.

Elevate premiered on major streaming platforms including iTunes, Spotify and YouTube with a music video.
