Renowned Churchill Show comedienne Nasra Yusuf and her hubby Rashid Abdalla are mourning the death of their unborn child.

The entertainers announced the passing on of their little angel through their social media pages on Monday, July 4, 2022.

The love birds described the day they lost the unborn baby as the saddest day of their lives.

A devastated Nasra said she was excited about the pregnancy journey, and that she already had a name for the child.

"This picture was taken on the saddest day of my adult life... Losing my little angel before I even met him/her makes it even harder to process," the comic captioned a photo of her lying in a hospital bed.

"I was way too excited for this journey, I had everything, from the name to the sort of life he/she would have all figured out in my mind...ooh how I wish I just saw your little face my baby but Alhamdulillah (praise be to God)...That is what I said when I first learnt about your coming, and it is what I said when you left may you be the reason I get into paradise main."

She added: "I am actually very happy that we got to share the news of your coming with our family, friends and fans who all loved you,I hope you felt the love from all of us baby."

Nasra thanked Director Rashid for being there for her during the difficult moment, promising to love him forever.

"They say everything happens for a reason and I do agree, because, during this difficult process, I got to see what kind of a man I was really married to. This man was broken, I'd never seen him that sad, but still, he chose to be strong for me, comforting me when he also needed to be comforted and going above and beyond to ensure that I got the best treatment.

"His constant reassurance that 'babe Niko hapa, we will go through this pamoja and tutakuwa sawa pamoja (Babe I am here, we will go through this together and all will be okay)' meant a lot. Hey babe, I appreciate you more now and I love you more now, and I'll always choose you above anyone and anything, I always have and I always will Director Rashid."

On his part, Director Rashid wrote: "This was the saddest day of our lives …. we lost our little baby before even seeing him/her Alhamdulillah it shall be well in sha Allah… Allah is the final planner of everything and He is never wrong.. it gonna be okay babe."
