Kenyan lifestyle content creator Nairofey has fired back at Shorn Arwa for mentioning her name in a recent interview in an ongoing online feud.
In a now-deleted comment on her Instagram account, the YouTuber did not mince words as she criticized her ex-best friend for what she deemed as an attempt to leverage her name for personal gain and labelled it as 'ghetto behaviour.'
"Using my name to get attention is ghetto! Lakini anyway I don't mind helping a 'friend' get views on her interview," Nairofey said.
Nairofey: Shorn Arwa lacks respect
According to Nairofey, Shorn Arwa displayed a lack of respect by discussing her personal life in the media while referring to herself as her friend.
Nairofey stressed that genuine friends who hold significance in her life would never engage in seeking attention using her name or publicly divulging details about her private life because they understand the true meaning of respect.
"People who matter and are my friends would never go clout chasing with my name or blubbering online about my personal life because they know what Respect means!" she emphasized.
Shorn Arwa's interview
The online feud stems from an interview that the UK-based content creator did with Mungai Eve recently during her visit to Kenya.
The mother of one openly commented on her best friend Nairofey's decision to reunite with Yeforian following their highly publicized breakup.
She expressed her discomfort with Yeforian, citing the pain he had caused her friend.
"I hope this comes out in the most respectable way possible... Nairofey is my friend, the husband is not my friend. Because when you hurt my friend, you stop being my friend, you know. I'm not the biggest supporter of his," she said.
Shorn Arwa went on to voice her apprehension about Yeforian's intentions.
"Up till this day, I still believe he is back to finally finish her. That is what I'm going to say," she remarked.
Addressing the criticism she has faced for allowing her friend to reconcile with her ex-husband, Shorn Arwa asserted that Nairofey and Yeforian are both adults capable of making their own decisions.
She defended their right to announce their reunion publicly and reminded everyone that reconciliations are not uncommon in relationships.
Yeforian slams Shorn Arwa
Nairofey's hubby Duncan alias Yeforian was the first to give Shorn a piece of his mind following her remarks about their rekindled romance.
In a post on his Instagram account, the YouTuber appeared unfazed by Shorn Arwa's perspective on his relationship with Nairofey.
"What a beautiful Thursday...na nimelishwa na bibi btw? Let the dogs keep barking, the caravan goes on!" He wrote.
Nairofey chimed in on the post, writing, "Caption has it."
