Audience members at Welcome to Rockville festival were shocked by a performance from cover band Brass Against, after frontwoman Sophia Urista appeared to urinate on a fan.

The band, known for covering songs by bands such as Soundgarden and Black Sabbath, were performing a rendition of “Wake Up” by Rage Against the Machine when the incident occurred.

Urista invited a fan up on stage and instructed him to lie down on his back. The singer then proceeded to pull down her pants and appeared to shockingly urinate on his face while performing mid-song

Fans who attended the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach reportedly called Urista's outlandish moment "disgusting".

"We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away. That's not something the rest of us expected, and it's not something you'll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona," the band wrote on Twitter, assuring fans that it wasn't a planned stunt.

According to an international media outlet, Urista could be heard telling the crowd before the incident that she needed to urinate.

During the performance, Urista grabbed a bottle of water, and noted that the show would be closed out with her relieving herself on someone in the audience once she drank it all, another outlet reported.
