Mugithi musician Jose Gatutura set to celebrate milestone

From 'Tuirio Twega' to 'Utuku Umwe', Jose Gatutura alias Mashette the King has entertained fans with his music for seven years now.

In a social media post, he expressed gratitude to his fans for their support since his debut in 2014 announcing his big party going down on Saturday, October 9.

"I take this moment to thank the Almighty God for the far He has brought me, always been there every step of the way, and for his strength in all things....not forgetting my royal fans. I am touched by the warm reception you've always shown me from day one. It has been a long journey for me," he wrote.

The top Kikuyu secular artist is set to host a star-studded anniversary party for fans, friends and long time supporters tomorrow at Afro Sayari along Eastern Bypass.

The celebration is lined up with a slew of other Kikuyu stars in both the secular and gospel industry among them Samidoh, Joyce wa Mama, Sammy Irungu, Phyllis Mbuthia, Loise Kim, Kareh B among others.
