Machachari actress Wanjiku Mburu, popularly known as Mama Baha, says she is alive and well, contrary to false reports published on two Kenyan blogs claiming she succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, October 1.
K24 Digital has since established that Pamela Wanjiru, the wife of Machachari director of photography, Mburu Kimani, is the one who passed on, and not Wanjiku Mburu the actress.
Speaking to K24 Digital, Wanjiku Mburu said: “I am well. The blogs, which falsely killed me, failed to get the name [of the deceased] right. It is unfortunate. My heart goes out to Mburu Kimani and his family for the loss of their loved one.”
