Governor Mutua’s ex-wife Lilian Ng’ang’a has told off former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko for commenting on her current relationship with Julius Owino famously known by his stage name as Juliani.

Ng’ang’a took issues with Governor Sonko who had asked her to move on in peace and stop endangering the life of Juliani by keeping on sharing their photos.

Aki sipoa, stop hurting Kavaluku just move on in peace you are now endangering the life of the msanii,” Sonko posted on his official Facebook page.

In a rejoinder, Ng’ang’a said that the photos were shared by their mutual friend and that they were not to upload them on social media to hurt anyone.

She also questioned Sonko's claim that she was putting the life of the award-winning musician in danger.

“These photos were posted by our friend and in no way, whatsoever are they meant to hurt anybody. My main concern though, Mike Sonko, is why should Juliani’s life be in danger for being with me?" Ng’ang’a posed.

This is not the first time Sonko has hit out at Juliani and Ng’ang’a, who made their relationship public two months ago.

Juliani and Ng’ang’a met in July 2021 and according to the musician, started seeing each other even before she announced her separation with the politician.

Mutua and Ng’ang’a dated for close to nine years before they officially announced that they had parted ways on August 15, 2021.

Asked what he likes in Ng’ang’a, JulianI said that he was blown away by her character and her strong values.

He also said that she is full of self-respect when their paths romantically crossed in June 2021 and for that reason, he cannot let her go.

The two lovers have been spending most of their time together and at times in the company of activist Bonface Mwangi who was the first to share their photos on social media.

Governor Mutua has also since announced that he was open to dating again and even said that a number of women have been asking his hand in marriage on social media.
