Radio personality Sheila Kwamboka aka Kwambox now says the main act in a concert should perform for at least three hours.

Kwambox was reacting to Nigerian singer Ayra Starr’s performance at the Shoke Shoke Festival held on Saturday, March 4 at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

Speaking on her morning show, the Kiss 100 presenter opined that she was somewhat disappointed by Ayra's performance which she termed short adding that she could have given her fans more.

Some context: Ayra Starr was on stage for 36 minutes from 2:07 am to 2:43 am.

"I went to the concert on Saturday. It was a good vibe but it was the most rushed performance I have ever seen.

"I'm now thinking that if an artist can't perform for three hours and they are international, then they can't be the main act," Kwambox said.

Kwambox said owing that Ayra Starr is a good performer being invited to concerts as the main act demands more time on stage but emphasized that it was her personal opinion.

"This is my personal opinion - If the artist cannot perform for at least an hour and a half, and you are the main act, then you can't be the main act. It was a good show though. Shout out to the organizers." she added.

Shoke Shoke Festival had several other Kenyan artistes in the lineup with the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja making a surprise appearance on stage.

The Kenyan act included; Mejja, Khaligraph Jones, Boutruoss and Theonlyrosa among others.
