Cerah and Maureen while speaking with a local YouTuber revealed their polygamous marriage is thriving and that they live happily with their husband identified as Abraham alias ‘baba’

Cerah, the first wife, has been married to Abraham for eight years now. She narrates how she struggled to accept her co-wife after years of being her husband's mistress but chose to do it for her own good.

She says she learnt about her husband's mistress Maureen while she was expectant with their second born, through her firstborn daughter and decided to ask him.

"I learnt about Maureen after my daughter showed me photos of a baby on the phone. I took the phone and I started going through the photos. At the time I was shaking because I also found out they have a baby," Cerah narrated.

Abraham on his part did not deny having an affair with the woman and even confessed that the daughter is his. Cerah says while it was hard, she however decided to accept the reality and chose to stay in her marriage.

Cerah and Abraham later planned for a meet-up with Maureen and started to bond which has now become a strong friendship.

"I met Maureen for the first time when I accompanied my husband to her house. When Maureen came to open the gate, she found me on the co-driver's seat and we said hi and even hugged each other," Cerah narrated.

How the co-wives ended up living together

Maureen and Cerah started living together casually.

They say after their weekly Sunday outings, one day, Maureen and her daughter went to Cerah's house in Juja and she spent the night. Eventually, it became a habit until she fully moved in.

The two say their children bond well and Cerah and Maureen are now like sisters.

"Our kids loved each other and we decided not to break their bond. Cerah treats my daughter like her own and vice versa," Maureen, the second wife said.

Maureen and Cerah say they are both thriving as co-wives since they respect each other and after all Abraham had disclosed to his first wife that he will eventually marry a second wife earlier in their marriage.

Speaking of how they sleep, the co-wives say they each have their own bedroom therefore, their husband gets to pick and choose where he wants to sleep every night.

Cerah is a mother of three and Maureen has one child. They have lived together for close to two years now.
