DW news anchor Edith Kimani and CNN journalist Larry Madowo have left Kenyans talking after the two celebrated news anchor posted a suggestive photo.
In the photo, the two are seen getting cosy and comfortable with one another as Madowo captioned his post with the words “Hey Edith Kimani!” while Edith captioned her post with “My sweet Larry Madowo”.
The photo left many of their million followers wondering if the two are indeed a couple or just friends.
However, the two journalists have never publicly revealed if indeed they are a couple or not.
Edith has been rumoured to be in a relationship with media personality Janet Mbugua’s twin brother Timothy Mbugua, but the two always kept their affair away from the limelight, and it is not clear if they are still together.
This is not the first time the two have posted such suggestive photos, indicating that their relationship may have thrived back in 2014.
Madowo posted a photo on September 21, 2014 which captured a moment between him and Edith while they shared a plate of fries in one of the local city food joints.
Fast-forward to 2017 Edith posted yet a photo that bared the two in a newsroom where Larry was seen helping the news anchor adjust a button on her top.
She captioned the photo: "My head of wardrobe Larry Madowo making sure I'm TV ready."
In yet another photo shared by Edith on Larry's birthday this year bore a caption which highlighted more details on their shared history.
In the photo, Edith referred to Larry as "Schatz" which means "sweetheart" in German.
With such photos popping up, celebrities and Kenyans at large were not left behind in sharing their views on the suggestive photos, with TV personality Betty Kyalo and Eddie Butita leading from the front.
Betty would go on to kindly asking for the one who took the photos with Butita urging the two journalist to invite them for a plate of pilau once they reveal they are a couple.
Netizens also chipped in their views, with one realwechuli254 urging Madowo to make it permanent by bearing a child together.
"Don't be like Ombija, impregnate this one quickly and permanently," Wechuli tweeted.
Obrian_254 asked Madowo to officially reveal the relationship, for they deserve each other.
"Brother, you both deserve each other, make this true," Obrian said.
Despite the comments, the two appear to be enjoying each other's time away from their busy schedules
