Kanye West will be releasing his album on Friday, July 23, and during his listening party, he played a song about his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

The song is titled “Welcome to my Life” and the lyrics are about how the past two years have been tough for the artist which also includes the split from the reality star.

He also has lyrics about him failing to become US President.

In the song, he compares the Calabasas home they shared together to being in jail. Kanye raps, “Tell the assassins I escaped from Calabasas.”

Sources that were at the listening party say, “It’s a very deep, sad song about Kanye, with him reflecting on his marriage with Kim.“He talks about the kids and mentions her taking everything. After he played this song he paused for like, two minutes, and cried. It was really sombre.”

This will be Kanye’s 10th studio album which is titled “Donda” named after his late mother.

This album also has snippets from his mother who passed away in 2007. Kanye has previously made songs about the passing of his mother and the depression he went through.

This will be the first time we receive an album from Kanye West since the divorce from Kim Kardashian.

He is known to make great music when he has real-life issues going on so come Friday fans are expecting to hear the Kanye everyone fell in love with originally.
