Jeff Mwathi's mother Anne Wacuka has faulted a local radio station for purporting to interview her together with DJ Fatxo who she insists killed her son.
DJ Fatxo showed up for the interview for the first time after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) failed to charge him in connection with Jeff Mwathi's death.
DJ Fatxo was joined by Jeff’s mother via a phone call.

However, it was later revealed that the radio station called Anne first then recorded her and played the audio recording live on air as they interviewed DJ Fatxo.
DJ Fatxo broke down in tears on hearing Jeff's mother call him a killer several times when they played him the recording.
Jeff's mother in a live session on TikTok blasted the radio station for recording her instead of just calling her for a live interview with DJ Fatxo.
"Ni vibaya kunipigia simu asubui muniulize hizo maswali zote na hamjaniambia ati DJ yuko huko kwa studio. Mungenipigia sahio amekaa hapo ajibu maswali si kunipgia simu alafu munanirecord alafu sasa munasema mutapigia mama Jeff munaweka hio audio. Si mungenipigia tu hapo ikue direct one and one. Mbona mukanipigia asubui hata kama hajaongea nijue ako huko, ata sikua najua ako huko. Hio si poa ata kidogo," Jeff Mwathi's mother bitterly complained.

Jeff Mwathi's mother Anne Wacuka further reacted to DJ Fatxo's claim that his mother was really suffering because of the murder accusations levelled against him.
Speaking during the radio interview, DJ Fatxo narrated how his mother was undergoing emotional torture amid claims that he killed Jeff Mwathi.
"Hapa kuna haki mara mbili. Am I not a Kenyan also mwenye anadeserve kupata haki yake? How would it feel when your son or your daughter is accused of kitu yenye hajafanya? Na kwanza anaambiwa ameua. I wish you also took your time also to call my mother.
"Nimekaa na mamangu for two months Nairobi. Yeye alikua ameshinda amejifunga leso hapa ju ya ile uchungu anaskia huku. I can show you pictures and photos, nlikua napiga mamangu akiwa chini kwa floor kila wakati ameishiwa na nguvu," DJ Fatxo said.
Jeff Mwathi’s mother angrily responded to DJ Fatxo’s claims that his mother was really suffering.
Speaking during the live session on TikTok, Anne dismissed the pain DJ Fatxo’s mother was going through saying it was nothing compared to what she was feeling having lost her son.
Jeff's mother told DJ Fatxo's mom that she was better off suffering while her son is still alive, adding that she has been suffering as her son is in the grave yet she is yet to get justice for his death.
“Ati mama ya DJ anapitia si ata afadhali wewe unapitia mtoto wako akiwa hai. Mimi napitia wangu akiwa kwa kaburi na mtoto wako ndo alimuua,” Jeff’s mother lamented.
