Media personality-cum-politician Phelix Odiwour alias Jalang'o's former gardener is now pleading with the Lang'ata MP-elect to rehire him.

This follows their dismissal months ago after being accused of stealing money from him.

Eli Omundu asked Jalas to consider offering him employment saying that life has been hard and vowed not to repeat their mistake.

"Hello Sir aki naomba msamaha sana na najutia makosa yangu mkubwa wangu, nilidangnywa sikuwa n aiyo nia ya wizi tumetoka mbali sana urafiki yetu na undugu iishie apo tafadhali sana nateseka Bungoma naomba tu nisaidie mkubwa wangu,” a message by Eli read.

However, in his response, Jalas says although he had previously agreed to reinstate the duo he stated that his trust in them had been broken following their betrayal.

"These guys stole money from me at a time I needed money the most, they broke the trust we had and betrayed the relationships we had built," Jalango said.

He added that their fate lies in the hands of the public.

“I am a man of a clean heart should you accept we have them back then we will surely have them back,” he noted.

Jalas however remained tight-lipped on the actual amount of money the duo stole but maintains it was a handful that he direly needed during the campaign period.
