Media personality-cum-politician Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o is celebrating his 40th birthday.

The Lang'ata Member of Parliament(MP) says he is grateful that he never gave up noting that the ride has been rough.

Taking to social media, he however keeps the faith and is hopeful of achieving more success.

"This far I thank God! Never believed or thought in my wildest dreams that we would be here where we are at 40! Life has shown me all but I know and I believe there is more! Let life begin! I have won, I have lost, I have laughed I have cried! I have learned! I NEVER GAVE UP! I am Forever indebted to the people, and the community that has given me soo much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! GOD GOT ME!" Jalang'o wrote.

The lawmaker was showered with love from his fans across the entertainment and political worlds.

Jalang'o's future political plans

This comes barely weeks after the lawmaker announced his political dreams saying he will be the first Dholuo president should Raila Odinga miss it.

"I will become the first person from the Luo community to become president. You will remember the statement I'm telling you today when a boy from Gem constituency gets declared president," he stated.

This he said during an interview where he was explaining his political moves and decision to work with President William Ruto.

He said although most Kenyans term him a betrayer they should allow time to be the judge.

"It's been a turbulent moment because I decide to work with the government despite my party leader opposing my move. So many people think I am a betrayer but I think time will judge me. I want Lang'ata people to give me a scorecard at the end of my 5-year term," he said during his interview with Citizen Digital.

He noted that his move was greatly influenced by his will to deliver on the promises he made to his constituents.

"When you work with the government, more things are achievable therefore when President Ruto called me I listened and made my decision. He has always been my friend," he added.
