Lang'ata Member of Parliament (MP) Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o forgave his former staffers Eli Omundu and Morris Litiema who stole from him.

Jalang'o was about to rehire Omundu and Litiema but his neighbours in the affluent community where he stays opposed the move given that the two are criminals.

The Lang'ata MP revealed he couldn't rehire Omundu and Litiema to work at his Nairobi home while speaking during an interview with YouTuber Mungai Eve.

"They stole money from my house. Personally, I have forgiven them, I even wanted to bring them back to work but in the community where we live they cannot be allowed in anymore, even if I wanted to. Their photos were circulated all over as wanted criminals and the community wouldn't even allow me to rehire them," Jalang'o explained.

The Lang'ata MP however promised he will try to get them jobs elsewhere since the two have apologised and are sorry for what they did.

Omundu and Litiema begged Jalang'o for forgiveness

Jalango's ex-staffers desperately begged him to forgive and rehire them. The duo have pleaded with the lawmaker countless times to be given a second chance.

The Lang'ata MP claimed that his former staffers stole slightly over a million shillings from a car they were instructed to wash.

Jalong’o offered a Ksh100,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Omundu and Litiema.

The Lang’ata MP appealed to members of the public to aid in bringing to book his former staffers who were on the run at the time.

Jalango's former casual labourers were on the run for nearly two weeks before they surrendered.
