Monday evening while the nation was pent-up with post-election anxiety, Kenyan gospel artiste Eunice Njeri cooled off her fans with pleasantly surprising news.
Njeri outed her secret wedding to her lover only identified as Mr Muriithi who she says they wedded in a private wedding ceremony held last year in 2021.
Also, she revealed she is now a mother of one after giving birth to her son this year. She confirmed the news on her Facebook by sharing a glance of her growing family showing their fists.
"So in other news, I met Mr Muthii in 2019, married him in 2021, and was blessed with a bouncing baby boy in 2022. Glory to God," she wrote.
This comes as a major surprise to many since the news was never leaked to the public until her official announcement.

The 'Nani kama wewe' hit singer's family news pique interest since in 2016 Njeri walked out of her first marriage with American-based Kenyan ex-lover Izzo.
Njeri called her marriage off just hours after exchanging vows at a church wedding.
Speaking of the reception from fans and family after the failed union, she says she suffered trolls but insisted that she has no regrets since she was not ready for marriage then.
