Esther Passaris dedicates election win to late dad

Following conclusion of the August 9 General Elections, Passaris was overwhelmed with emotions while picking his election certificate.

Moments after being declared winner of the hotly contested seat, Passaris was given a chance to give her appreciation speech.

It was then when she broke down after dedicating the win to her to her late father who passed away earlier this year.

Passaris promised to serve the people of Nairobi with integrity and passion as taught by her deceased father.

“I want to dedicate this win to my father who passed away in January and he is not here to see me win this. And because he loved this country so much, I want to say ‘daddy as I dedicate this win to you, I will do everything you taught me; to serve with integrity. I will do that in your honour for the people of Nairobi,” she said.
