Eric Omondi's girlfriend Lynne has spoken for the first time since she miscarried.

Taking to her official Instagram account, Lynne expressed optimism and affirmed that she was focused on enhancing her life.

"I don't wanna be Instagram picture goals. I wanna be my real-life goals. I wanna live and walk in my divine purpose. Pushing myself to reach my maximum potential. Doing it with grace, integrity and humility,

"Smiling and giving thanks on my hardest day knowing that each day I'm closer to what's destined for me. Having faith and keeping the higher above first goes a long way," she wrote.

Lynne's miscarriage

The latest comes days after Lynne suffered a miscarriage while she was admitted to the hospital - doctors tried in vain to save her unborn baby.

The incident was announced by Omondi through a post narrating how doctors fought for over five hours trying to save Lynne's pregnancy.

"Last night was one of the longest nights in my life. We fought for over 5 hours to try and save our little angel but God had other plans. We never met you but we sure felt you and will forever love you. Respect all the women, no man on earth has that kind of strength. Lynne stay strong… It is well,” Eric Omondi wrote.

8 Weeks old

Lynne was seen crying uncontrollably in a video Eric posted on social media. However, she managed to gather some strength and took to her Instagram account to pay tribute to her departed baby.

Eric's girlfriend revealed she lost her baby at eight weeks of pregnancy.

By eight weeks of pregnancy, the baby is called a foetus. The legs are getting longer but the different parts of the leg are not properly distinct yet. It takes a bit longer before the knees, ankles, thighs and toes develop. [sic]

In her post, Lynne lamented that she would not be able to see her baby's face or to massage its tiny feet following the tragic loss.

"My angel. I still can't believe you're gone. I'm thankful I got to have you for eight weeks you were inside me. I'm so sorry I won't be able to see your sweet face or massage your tiny feet. I will forever love you," Lynne wrote.
