After encountering difficulties with some cast and authorities that saw his first two seasons end on an epic failure, the self-proclaimed President of comedy Africa- Eric Omondi is giving his controversial show another shot.

Omondi made the announcement in a social media post earlier today, stating 'Wife Material show' season 3 will be dropping soon before the end of this month cutting across five African countries- Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Sudan and Nigeria.

"October 19, Wife Material 3. Africa Edition," Omondi wrote.

The previous two seasons involved a number of female cast members who flirt, befriend, piss off, and compete in challenges against each other to win Eric Omondi and hopefully eventually become his wife.

Season 2 of the show ended on arrival after Eric Omondi reported to netizens that the show that had been scheduled to start May 24, was disrupted by a ‘rogue’ contestant.

” Unfortunately, one of the contestants went completely and utterly ‘rogue’ and despite numerous attempts to control the situation, the atmosphere in the house has not been conducive for the show to continue, ” Eric stated.

The 'rogue' contestant was a controversial Tanzanian socialite and video vixen Gigy Money.

The 24-year-old mother of one is said to have caused a commotion during the shooting of the show and that efforts to calm her down went futile forcing Eric to cancel it.
