A month after vlogger Xtian Dela declared his bid for the Westlands constituency Parliamentary seat, the video producer turned politician has released his security manifesto.

While sharing news of his entrance into the murky waters of politics, Dela claimed that the youth in the country were tired of old politicians and it was time for the young people to take charge of the country.

“I will be the Member of Parliament of Westlands Constituency in 2022. Let’s show them the POWER of Social Media and the power of the YOUTH in Kenya who are TIRED of OLD and USELESS politicians!!!! I BELIEVE WE WILL WIN!!! OUR VOICES MUST BE HEARD!” the vlogger tweeted.

In his recently launched manifesto, Dela targets to sort out the menace of street children through enrollment in the National Youth Service as he rakes for solutions to nip insecurity the bud.

"I will enroll ALL aged street kids in the NYS. It’s basically a “FREE TRAINING COLLEGE” for young Kenyans. Yes! We make a law that ensures all street kids pass through the NYS," Dela said.

The youthful aspirant for the Westlands MP seat added that training street kids will in turn help them be sufficient.

"We will make into law that ALL the skilled and reformed street kids be employed by our County Governments. First priority to them!"

"Let our trenches be dug with military precision accuracy! Let traffic be guided by a young, energetic, smart, well-trained, and reformed street kid!" Dela said.

By incorporating the youth into the county government workforce, Dela added that; "we will pump FRESH and SKILLED blood into our local government."

When sharing news of his political aspirations, the vlogger whose name is Arthur Mandela said his manifesto will be focused in creating jobs and safe spaces for young people to be creative and earn money.

“I haven’t started on my Manifesto but one of the main things I MUST do in Westlands is create JOBS and SAFE spaces for young people to be creative and make money! Imagine!!! This country is so messed up that I have to stop my private businesses to help run it. I have decided to be on the forefront of change rather than shout from the back!! I believe true change starts from us…WE ARE THE TRUE CHANGE!” Dela said.
