Emmy Kosgei painfully mourned the demise of fellow gospel singer Ilagosa wa Ilagosa whose death is shrouded in mystery.

Kosgei in her tribute expressed utter shock at 'unimaginable wickedness in the household of faith' amid reports that Ilagosa was poisoned.

"This is just hard !this life was cut off at noon dayπŸ˜ͺ😭 there is no peace for the wicked who did this wicked act .. unimaginable wickedness in the household of faith 😭😭😭😭😭 Rest in power minister #ilagosawailagosa Rest. We kept hoping you will pull through but eesh😭😭😭 the gospel fraternity mourns your exit. It is saddening, to think of what you want through. Our prayers to your family and loved ones πŸ™ your fans. ,It is well," Emmy Kosgei wrote.

Reports about poisoning

Reports emerged that gospel singer Illagosa Wa Illagosa was poisoned moments after his death was Ilagosa announced.

A screengrab (which was shared widely on social media) of a WhatsApp group called TMT Family One shows a member informing others that they were at St Mary's Langata trying to get the singer admitted as he had been poisoned.

"Ilagosa wa ilagosa ni mgonjwa sana alipewa sumu kwa chakula ama develop kidney felia tujo sent marris langata hospital tunahitaji pesa 10 ndio aw adimited papa Tomasa tuko na mtumishi wa Mungu Solomon mkubwa," the message read.

While mourning Ilagosa, Facebook user Hezron Marwa claimed that a doctor allegedly confirmed that he had been poisoned.
