Tanzanian music sensational Diamond Platnumz has been ranked as one of the top musicians in Sub-Saharan Africa with the most YouTube views.
According to a report released by YouTube, Diamond has the third-highest YouTube views in Africa after Nigerian singers Ckay and Wizkid.
The report says that in 2021, the Wasafi boss garnered 452 million YouTube views through his various music videos on Wasafi YouTube Channel.

Though he appeared as third in Sub-Sarahan Africa, the Baba Lao hitmaker emerged as the top musician who got the most views on the digital platform in East Africa last year.
In East Africa, he was followed by fellow Tanzanian artiste Rayvanny who recorded 266 million views.
Diamond's ranking in the region doesn't come as a surprise as last year he made history as the first East African musician to hit 1 billion YouTube views.
