Tanzanian star Naseeb Abdul, alias Diamond Platnumz's manager Sallam SK has disclosed that the singer charges a whooping Ksh7 million for international shows.

Other than the costly performance fee, the manager also stated that promoters inviting the singer for a show takes care of the singer's transport logistics.

As if that is not enough, Sallam said the promoters must also fly the singer and his crew out of the country in a private jet, and take care of their accommodation and food.

He also noted that the performance fee is not negotiable except for local promoters in Tanzania.

"Business-wise the rates change due to demand and his (Diamond) rates have changed; it is now Ksh7 million. For local shows, we can negotiate but also to a reasonable amount. It is obvious that when the demand grows, then the perfomance performance fee must be high," Sallam said.

Further, the talent manager disclosed that Zuchu - signed under Diamond's record label - charged Ksh 2 million per show.

This came two months after popular music publishing company Warner Music Group announced a partnership with the Tanzanian star.

The deal sought to incorporate WCB-Wasafi with Warner Music South Africa and African entertainment group Ziiki media in an effort to expose African music to a worldwide audience.

"Diamond Platnumz is one of Africa’s most successful artists, having released more than 30 hit songs, and is one of the region’s most recognisable figures. He has the number one artist YouTube channel in Sub-Saharan Africa, with more than five million subscribers, and also has more than 12 million Instagram followers," wrote Warner Music Group.
