Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, alias Davido has reportedly fired his logistics manager for defending a Nigerian police officer implicated in fraudster Hushpuppi's scandal.

Through his Instagram page, Isreal Afeare better known as Isreal DMW begged Nigerians to plead with the musician to reinstate him following the new development.

The logistics manager further noted that he was sinking into depression following the sacking, asking Nigerians to apologise on his behalf.

"You people should kindly help me beg my oga not to sack me, through his personal lawyer Jiggy, than adding to my current depression of pressuring him to send me off," Isreal said.

Adding; "What would be you people’s gains, after 9 good years? I never knew the gravity of my actions, until Ubi Franklin personally called to tell me. I'm very sorry sir."

According to reports, Isreal had dragged the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) following the order to arrest Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari for his alleged involvement in Hushpuppi's scamming scheme.

According to the FBI, Hushpuppi, paid ksh2.2 million ($20,600) to Kyari, to arrest and detain his fellow fraudster, Chibuzo Kelly Vincent.

Hushpuppi reportedly contracted the services of Kyari after Chibuzo threatened to expose an alleged fraud committed against a Qatari businessman.

“Kyari provided the account information for a bank account at a Nigerian bank, Zenith Bank, in the name of a person other than Kyari himself," a document issued by the US District Court for the Central District Court stated.
