Actress and content creator Brendah Jons has given her life to Christ, announcing that she is now a born again christian.

The new development comes barely a month after the actress announced her exit from the LGBTQ community.

Born again christian

In an update on her Instagram page, Brendah disclosed that she first gave her life to Christ while she was 13 years old.

She, however, noted that she was not sure of what it meant but she did the same 8 years later when a pastor made an alter call in church.

“13 years ago, I first gave my life to Christ. I didn't know what it really meant to be born again but I remember saying the words, ‘my life will never be the same again’,” Brendah said.

She added; “8 years later, a pastor did an altar call and this time I knew exactly what it meant. It meant I had to lay everything down and serve God in truth and in spirit.I knew it was what I was made to do and so I walked to the altar and officially gave my life to Christ and immediately started serving Him.”

Brendah Jons on backsliding

The actress noted that all was well until this specific time when she lost someone that she loved.

Brendah said she got furious and wondered why God would take away his loved one yet she was serving him faithfully.

As such, the actress said she found herself in a position where she was trying to get back to Christ but she would fail.

This happened until she got back to track and started ministering on social media.

“Through campus, I kept trying to get back but kept failing over and over, but I knew He was still ordering my steps. A few years later,bI got back on track and God placed me on social media and I started ministry

“I was deep in faith and I honestly miss those days, a lot! God had really inspired me to really lead and talk about sexual sin and a good friend once told me that the demon that you publicly fight, will be used to greatly test your faith

“I didn't take it deeply but Lord oh Lord. It unfolded that same way. I fell off my walk of faith and I both engaged in and fought sexual sin and many more sins! God sent many people to talk to me and remind me of where my identity is (in Him) but I was too deaf to His call and too blind to His light as He called me home,” Brendah said.

The actress now believes that she is forgiven and she is fully healed from mistakes and the kind of lifestyle that she lived in the past.

“…and now here I am, telling you that He is real and despite any private or public sin I had, I am fully forgiven, fully healed and all the chains are broken and grace has taken that place now! I’m born again that's my testimony,” Brendah said.

Brendah Jons quits LGBTQ

Earlier this month, the actress announced that she will no longer be part of the LGBTQ community.

She shared this revelation where she noted that being gay was just a phase in her life and she now has a better identity.

"That time of my life was a phase that I had to go through and I went through it and I'm no longer in it anymore

“As humans we grow every day, things change every day, we develop every day and discover ourselves every day. And with time, I am realizing that wasn’t really my identity. It wasn’t who I am but more of a phase,” Brendah stated.

Brendah added that she now knows the value of a man in a woman's life and that she is not afraid of being thought of as confused.

“I know people will point fingers saying that I had initially said am gay but I have seen the value of a man in a woman’s life and am telling you a different story and those that will find me to be confused good for you,” she stated.
