Activist Boniface Mwangi has on Thursday September 2, 2020 exposed the phone number that has allegedly been sending life threatening texts to pop artist Julius Owino alias Juliani. Mwangi claims that the artist received the texts on Wednesday September 1, 2021 from the unnamed person. Mwangi's statement comes hot on the heels of similar threat allegations by the pop artist.

According to the former Starehe Parliamentary aspirant, the unnamed person instructed the Utawala hitmaker to stop posting pictures with former Machakos first lady Lilian Nganga. Mwangi further reveals that Juliani was sternly warned that he would be killed if he defied the orders.

The duo has since recorded a statement at Kileleshwa police station.

"My very good friend Juliani was threatened yesterday. Someone called him and texted using 0773912088. He told him to stop posting pics posed with his friend Lilian Nganga, and if he continues, they will kill him. He has recorded a statement at Kileleshwa Police Station," he posted.

In a tweet posted today morning, the rapper confirmed that he received life threats over his association with Lilian Nganga.

Photos of him and the ex-wife of Machakos governor Alfred Mutua looking all loved up, have been spreading online sparking dating speculations. In his response to the speculations, the rapper neither denied nor accepted that he was in a relationship with Nganga.

Juliani argued that it was pointless to substantiate the obvious and said he found it confusing that Kenyans believed that it was possible to steal someone from their spouse without consent. The rapper also took issue with media outlets for painting him as a 'wife snatcher'.

"How now can you “iba mtu”?! An intelligent adult with a sound mind. The call/text threat on my life today, NOT funny! “ulinyang’anyana” narrative is false, tired, juicy headlines tu. Kindly STOP!," he posted.
