Actor Makenzi Paul, a former Boda Boda operator, has come out to claim that he is the guy who rescued Diana Marua when Willy Paul had allegedly tried to rape her.
Paul claimed that on the day of the incident, he was riding around the estate where Willy Paul lived when he heard Diana crying for help.
According to Paul, he knew it was Willy Paul who committed the crime after spotting him in the area of the incident on several occasions.

"I am the boda boda guy who helped Diana Marua flee after she escaped from Willy Paul's car. I was coming from my workstation and boda boda was not my job by then, but I decided to help her after seeing what she was going through. I can relate because I had seen Willy Paul in that estate and people used to say he lives there," Paul said.
Paul's revelation comes after Diana revealed that it was a motorcyclist that helped her after escaping from the hands of Willy Paul.
"Eventually, I think after the screams he (Willy Paul) panicked and he moved aside and that is the time I got the opportunity to open the door and I ran... My top and skirt were torn, at the time, I was running like a mad man. I ran on the murram road outside his apartment like a mad person and that is when I spotted a motorbike. It is this guy with the motorbike that helped me," Diana narrated.
Willy Paul, however, denied the allegation claiming that he was in a consensual relationship with Diana and that the rape claims are not true.
