Relationships are considered hard and even harder when one is in the limelight.

Celebrities often feel the need to update fans on their love affairs but what happens when they hit rock bottom and/or are faced with major challenges?

Some break up, others try to solve their issues and perhaps keep their vows but either way these decisions are packed with scandals, fights and airing of each other's dirty linen.

2021 was not short of these dramas and they have all played out right in front of our eyes.

Here are some of the biggest relationship dramas of 2021 as sampled by K24 Digital;

It all started when Jemutai reached out to the 'Tea Master' Edgar Obare seeking a potential buyer of her Facebook page.

Speculation immediately ensued with Jemutai revealing that the decision was reached after his baby daddy Prof Hamo failed to take his fatherly duties.

The story soon after went viral and Hamo asked for a DNA test to ascertain paternity and the results confirmed that indeed he was the father.

Surprisingly, the lovebirds, later on, reconciled, secured some major deals and the two have been seemingly living happily ever after.

These two are clearly in love and with 2022 just around the corner, it would be quite interesting to see if the artiste will support Nyamu's political ambitions ahead of their second baby's birth.

Matatu Association operator Jamal Ibrahim gained popularity after his affair with socialite Amber Ray was exposed by blogger Edgar Obare.

This would turn out to be one of the biggest dramas in the year after Jamal took in Amber as his second wife.

According to his first wife Amira, she noted that Jamal did not inform her about Amber and only learnt about their relationship on social media.

The co-wives engaged in a nasty fight that saw Amber move from Syokimau to Kileleshwa and later on faked their breakup.

They were however spotted together again and Amira soon after announced her official breakup teasing a divorce.

Jamal and Amber are currently living together again and Amira lives with her two sons.

Comedian Eric Omondi and his baby mama Jacque Maribe had a fair share of drama in 2021 to a point, Omondi asked for a DNA test for their son.

The tussle began when Eric uploaded a photo of an alleged pregnant lady pledging support and 'full' responsibility.

The caption irked Maribe who replied to mock Omondi calling him out for being a deadbeat father.

Omondi quickly replied claiming, Jacque cheated on her then-boyfriend with him and therefore he was not sure about the paternity of their son.

The two would later be seen hanging out after businessman Simon Kabu mediated their reconciliation process and Jacque wrote a public announcement message asking fans to leave the matter.

Her ex-girlfriend Ntalami wrote a very lengthy statement to announce their falloff citing infidelity.

After a while, she resurfaced with a new lover mocking Michelle's breakup posts.

After speculations, the two continued to deny their love affair until activist Boniface Mwangi posted them online to confirm their relationship.

Lilian was forced to issue a statement and in her defence she noted that they were two consenting adults and had chosen to do life together.

Juliani would later come out to explain his ordeal after receiving death threats following their affair and Lilian on the other hand explained her frustrations caused by the governor following their separation.

The matter still remains in court.
