Betty Kyallo has revealed that she will soon make a comeback on the screen but not as a news anchor. She said she will come back on TV as a reality TV show star.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, the former KTN news anchor revealed that she will soon launch a reality TV show that will feature her and her family members.
Betty who likened the show to Keeping Up With The Kardashians - an American reality TV show that features socialite Kim Kardashian and her family members - revealed that the show will air on one of the local TV stations.
"We have this special project that is coming up with my family, especially my sisters, it's our reality TV show... We wanted to build our reality show like that of the Kardashians," Betty said.
The mother of one who revealed that the show is being produced by Eugene Mbugua said that they will start airing it between April and May this year.
Betty further is the reason she stopped updating her YouTube channel, BK Lately which she launched last year.
She said that the reality show is a 'bigger and better project' compared to that of the online show.
"When we started shooting for our reality show, we saw that the project is almost the same and is why we pose on the BK Lately. We know it was special to many people but we are working on something bigger," she said.
"The reality show is going to air on TV, but I am not going to mention which station because I am not allowed."
Betty also revealed that though she is coming back on TV, she won't be focusing on news anchoring noting that at the moment she is focused on her businesses.
"I am coming back on TV as my own person but not on news. This is because I love the thrill and the adrenaline of business and empowering people," the former K24 TV presenter said.
