Singer Bahati caused a stir among his fans and followers after deleting all posts on his Instagram page which has more than 3 million followers.

Although Bahati, who vanished after losing the Mathare constituency seat in the August 9, 2022, General Elections, has not commented on his decision to wipe clean his Instagram, his fans believe he is engaged in a major undertaking.

Bahati’s last post before he wiped clean his Instagram account was on August 11, 2022, when he criticized the way Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) conducted the election.

He claimed that 21 vote boxes had been tampered with as he stated that he was waiting to be declared the winner.

“Dear IEBC, we need answers! Everything is at standstill at the St. Teresa's Tallying Centre, and we can sense rigging plans. Tell us what's happening!” Bahati wrote.

Bahati's decision to erase everything from his Instagram page also comes a few weeks after his wife Diana Marua alarmed her followers with a mysterious statement she posted on Instagram.

“Only in the darkness can you see the stars," Diana captioned a picture of a dove on a dark background.

Diana hasn't posted anything since then on any of her social media accounts.

A week before Diana's mysterious post, Bahati stated that his wife wasn't doing well during an interview.

However, Bahati noted that he was not free to discuss what Diana was experiencing at the moment. His wife had previously disclosed that she was suffering from Symphysis pubis dysfunction.

“I normally have issues when I get closer to delivery it gets to a point, I can’t walk even when I'm in bed my husband has to turn me. But so far I am okay I don’t walk much because I have a condition called pubic symphysis where pressure mounts on my pelvic bones and I can’t walk so I even create content while seated,” Diana said in an interview with YouTuber Mungai Eve.
