Kenyan fast-rising artists and perhaps everyone's favourites Nikita Kering and Trio Mio are certainly the future of entertainment in Kenya.

The teenagers continue to command a great following and influence in the industry, and are some of the best performers that generation Z has birthed.

Nikita who has an array of awards to her name gained popularity after the release of her single ‘Tragedy’ which was a powerful production of emotion and a mature address to violence in romantic relationships.

At a very tender age, the songbird won a couple of awards and shared the stage with big artists such as Emmy Kosgey and made her debut stage performance during Emmy's album launch in 2012.

She recently released her album dubbed ‘A side of me’ with the hit song 'EX' where the Songbird gave us vocals upon vocals.

Fans would need some time to get used to the now all-grown singer, but it didn’t take long for the nation to develop a soft spot for the vocally-gifted beauty.

On the other hand, Trio Mio impressed Kenyans with his flow and mastery in his debut song 'Cheza kama wewe'

The 16-year-old has gained national recognition gracing big political events among them the recent Raila's 'Azimio la Umoja' convention.

With their totally different genres (RnB and Gengetone), both artists put on a good show after they rocked the stage back to back over the weekend during the Afrojam festival.

Dressed in all white, Nikita surely gave fans what they paid for (and much more) after taking the stage.

With her captivating dance moves, she showed off with her band of backup dancers and brass instruments grooving behind her.

The festival set the stage for the award-winning artist to serenade fans with her 2021 most beloved song 'EX' with fans loudly singing along.

After her exit, Trio Mio took over the stage with his contemporary dance moves throwing fans into a frenzy with his surprise freestyle.

From 'Cheza kama wewe' to 'Sipangwingwi', fans had a blast experiencing his talent with stage lights on.

With their consistency in the art, Trio Mio and Nikita proves their growing army of fans undeniable star power that separates them from the crowded crop of artists in the game.
