YouTube #1 trending song 'Attitude" by Harmonize ft Awilo Longomba & H baba got over 3.3 million views in one day.

As at today 26th April, the views stands at 4.2 Million.

Statistics show that songs featuring Lingala singers do fairly well for artists.

Diamond Platnumz on his Insta stories shared his earnings from November hit song 'Waah' featuring Koffi Olomide.

The Tanzania sensational said he made over Sh 4 million from Youtube. The song has over 61 Million views so far.

Other features with the Lingala singers have earned him over 149 million views for Yope' Remix featuring Innoss’ B and 87 Million for 'Inama' featuring Fally Ipupa making them top two of his YouTube videos.

Other artists with songs featuring Congolese singers include: Ninogeshe hit-maker Nandy whose feature with Koffi Olomide earned her over 3.2Million views in one month.

For decades, Congolese music has dominated the African music scene. Their music incorporates dances and high end fashion, musical instruments and expensive European cars.

This has to do not only with their music, but also with the legacy of Belgian colonial rule, itself a particular type of “modern” institution.

From rhumba to ndombolo and ballands Lingala music is massive.

Many theories comes in handy but numbers don't lie. Lingala music artists are legends who have filled world's biggest concert halls alongside global audience of millions dancing to the rhythms of Congolese beats.

"Where party today? I want to show them my attitude." or maybe let me show you how to 'altitude'.
