In her effort to save her image to the public following an explosive interview, Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai shared screenshots of what seemed like their last conversation with her ex-husband Tanzania singer Bernard Michael alias Ben Pol.
Some context: Anerlisa Muigai and Ben Pol got married in May 2020 during the pandemic but broke up less than a year later with statements from both parties at the time seeming to indicate irreconcilable differences. Prior to their nuptials, the pair had been together since 2018. Their intimate wedding was held in Tanzania weeks after Anerlisa's younger sister Tecras' death.
Anerlisa shared messages sent on by Ben Pol during the festive season saying; "she is tired of being looked at as a bad person."
In the text, Ben while confessing that Christmas are not the same anymore, he claims he was not with her for her wealth.
"I want to let you know that I was never with you because of money, in fact during our relationship, it was the time that I was making the least money in my whole 12+ years career, but I was okay and I never complained about it," part of the message read.
This comes after Ben sensationally claimed that he did not enjoy his marriage despite loads of lovely photos on social media while the two ex-lovers were dating and during their short-lived marriage.
Ben while speaking during an interview with Millard Ayo, he said;
"We started dating in 2018. Apart from our beautiful photos on social media, I never enjoyed my marriage. I never experienced what other people enjoy in marriage. I was seeming there to pose for the snapshots."

While answering if Anerlisa used him to brand herself?
He said; "I am being neutral but in my perspective, we got married to complete the picture. It's like she wanted to tick off marriage from her list."
The 'Moyo' hit singer further claimed he was down to work on their marriage.
"The kind of level and dedication I had towards her is not something I had with someone. This was my first serious relationship."
It was after this interview, Anerlisa called him out daring him to share their last conversation before she eventually did.
Anerlisa, Ben Pol finalize divorce
Anerlisa and Ben finalised their divorce in late 2022.
In an update, she celebrated the official end of her marriage by passing a gratitude note to her divorce lawyers.
In a writeup posted on her Instagram stories, Anerlisa says they entered the final divorce decree not long ago noting that she is now officially liberated.
“Officially Free. It would not be fair to not give a shout-out to these two advocates who worked tirelessly to make sure that the divorce was done quickly and not wait for years.
"Hamza Jabir and Hosea Chamba. Thank you for your work and for doing everything as requested,” she wrote.
