Director Trevor sent social media into a messy meltdown after confirming his breakup with YouTube star Eve Mungai and a consequential takeover of their various online platforms and Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai is chiming in.

Through his official X account, Alai suggested that Mungai should take legal action against Trevor arguing that the channel which boasts over 700K subscribers and millions of views was built with her brand.

The controversial blogger-turned-politician sympathised with Eve Mungai saying he has watched her build the channel from the ground up with 'blood and sweat'.

"Eve Mungai should sue Trevor and recover all her pages Eve Mungai built the pages using her image and went to great lengths to sacrifice everything for the pages to grow. I remember how many times we interacted with her while chasing a story. She shouldn't let the channels go that easily," the MCA opined.

On Monday, February 19, 2024, Director Trevor announced he would be taking over and rebranding two YouTube channels and a Facebook page previously run by Mungai saying that her services were no longer needed.

Notably, Eve is yet to respond to the chaotic unfolding of events and is seemingly completely unbothered by the messy shenanigans while living her best life on her solo trip to Zanzibar.

Meanwhile, in a newly emerged video, Director Trevor explained the fate of their YouTube channel in case of a fallout.

He said that although he opened the channel, he would allow Eve to keep it and confidently stated that he believed he would pull a similar audience with a new channel.

"Mimi ndio nilicreate(the YouTube channel) lakini ni yake Maybe kukiwa na issue, ningependa ikue yake maana jina ni lake na brand in yake. Naeza anza channel na ikue freshi kabisa. Mimi najua tu password, mabo ya help na mengineo siyajui," Trevor affirmed.

Loosely translated as:"(Although I created the Youtube channel it belongs to Eve. In case of anything, I would still want her to retain the channel since it's her name and her brand. I don't even know much about the channel except the password.)"
