Self-proclaimed president of single mothers and singer Akothee has shared her two cents on Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe's paternity feud after Eric asked for a DNA test.
In an Instagram post, the mother of five advised the beefing ex-lovers against taking the matter to a children court as it would be a long, embarrassing and tiresome process.
Recalling her past visits, Akothee says the process is not worth it asking them not to drag their seven-year-old son in their fights.

"Have the two of you ever visited a children court ? Do you guys have an idea of what it entails to make endless trips to a children's court? Do you know the kind of parents you will meet at the children's court? Both of you as public figures will be very embarrassed,kupanga laini na wazazi hawana hata viatu . Yesterday, Eric wrote a lengthy message on Instagram claiming that on the night Jacque is believed to have conceived, the two used protection because after all, she was dating popular journalist Sam Ogina.
He further claimed that after two months, Jacque would then come around to say she was pregnant and while he questioned the chances that he was the father, Omondi says Maribe supported her claims based on 'motherly instincts'
“After two months Jacque tells me she’s pregnant!!! I immediately ask her how since we used protection??? She then tells me “It doesn’t matter the mother always knows who the Father is and that I am the Father!!!” he added.
Addressing this claim, Akothee says mothers decide who fathers their children therefore he should take responsibility and withdraw his demands.
"Eric wachana Na DNA ,us women / mothers decides who father's our children hata kama Sio Yako ,tumekuchagua ,wewe lea tu mtoto ni wetu sote," she noted.
The singer further advised Jacque to prioritise her peace and take up parental responsibilities.
"Jacky wewe pia chukuwa majukumu kama mzazi ,ignore Eric omondi and take charge of your child's life ,you will have peace , huyu jamaa atakutoa figo ukose pumzi ya kutafuta ,I am speaking to you as a single mother of 5 children.
I got peace when I stopped chasing baby daddies ,mummy roho yangu ilikuwa inatembea nje kama mchawi ,usiku silali ,mchana sina nguvu .
Ona Sasa hii mbio inatupeleka DNA Tunasumbua mtoto na na useless trips .
