Russian company ROSATOM which is one the global technological giants and the largest producer of electricity in Russia has launched the Atoms for Humanity, a unique nuclear awareness campaign.

The initiative will focus on the social, economic and environmental benefits of nuclear energy as a reliable source of energy.

The launch of the project focusses on a unique collection of stories capturing ordinary people from all over the world sharing how nuclear transforms their lives and helps fulfill dreams, both big and small. 

Through the Atoms for Humanity Global Nuclear Awareness, modern nuclear technology is viewed as a versatile tool needed to solve the most urgent challenges of today and tomorrow.

“Nuclear energy is crucial to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In order to power a better future, we need a clean and reliable source of energy, just like nuclear,” the Russian company claimed in part of its official statement. 

Themed Why Humanity Needs Nuclear, the discussions will be led by Kristy Gogan, an internationally sought-after expert with over 15 years in advising the government on climate and energy.

Other key speakers include Rosatom and World Nuclear Association executives, environmental experts, and heroes of Atoms for Humanity documentaries.
