Kenya Airways (KQ) carrier is still not in the green after another dismal half-year results in which losses doubled.

On Tuesday, KQ reported Sh8.6 billion half-year net loss for the year ended June compared to the Sh4.03 billion made in a similar period.

"KQ has recorded a 12.2% increase in revenue for the six months period ended June 30, 2019 attributed to the positive performance of recently introduced routes, in line with the airline’s network expansion strategy," said Chief Executive Officer Sebastian Mikosz.
